Zenith AI selected for Web Summit Lisbon's ALPHA startup programme

Agentic AI is moving from pitch decks to production. In November we take GAIMS, our patent-pending platform for supply chains, onto the ALPHA floor in Lisbon.

Agentic AI is moving fast from pitch decks to production, and this November we are proving it on one of the industry's biggest stages. Zenith AI, a UK agentic AI company, has been accepted into Web Summit Lisbon's ALPHA startup programme, giving us our own stand on the exhibition floor and eligibility to apply for PITCH, where startups present live to a panel of judges. For a company built on agentic AI, it felt like the right room to be in.

A stage built for agentic AI companies

Zenith AI runs four practices:

  • AI and intelligent systems: conversational AI, agents and retrieval-augmented generation, priced on outcomes rather than seats
  • Build: web, applications and e-commerce on a bespoke Next.js CMS
  • Systems: CRM, back office and automation, run on our own self-hosted n8n
  • Growth: SEO, AI visibility, paid media and analytics

The principle behind all of it is simple: we run the stack we sell. Everything we build for clients has already been proven on our own operations first, across a group that operates in the UK and EU. You can see the full practice list on our services page.

GAIMS: the agentic AI example we are proudest of

If one project sums up what agentic AI can do outside a demo, it is GAIMS, our Global AI Manufacturing System. GAIMS is a patent-pending, autonomous platform for inventory and production management. It combines demand forecasting, real-time tracking across warehouses and production lines, anomaly detection and automated reordering, so stock decisions get made on predictive signals rather than static thresholds.

We built GAIMS for our own operations first, to fix real problems in production and inventory across a multi-location network. The results were concrete: fewer stockouts, less overstock, and visibility across thousands of SKUs at once. GAIMS is protected by a patent application filed with the European Patent Office across 46 territories, and it is offered to other businesses as a separate flagship enterprise AI platform engagement, quoted bespoke rather than sold off a menu. You can read the full case study on our GAIMS work page.

Most companies calling themselves an enterprise AI platform are still selling a chatbot with extra steps. The test we hold ourselves to is whether the system makes a decision on its own, with money or stock on the line, and whether we'd trust it running our own operations before we ever offer it to a client. GAIMS passes that test because we ran it on our own warehouses first, not a client's.ALFONSO GIRONELLA · MANAGING DIRECTOR, ZENITH AI

Beyond GAIMS: the rest of the stack

GAIMS is not the only place agentic AI shows up in our work. Kit Funder, our grassroots sports funding platform at kitfunder.ai, is agent operated end to end: intake, matching and communications are all run by our own agents. We also run the technology behind Decathlon's UK club platform, decathlonmyclub.co.uk, combining a conversational AI chatbot with kit ordering and club operations. More of our work is on the work page.

Also in the running: IBM's Sports Tech Startup Prize

Zenith AI grew out of My Club Group, a sports technology business, so we have also applied for IBM's Sports Tech Startup Prize, running alongside Web Summit Lisbon on 10 and 11 November. Billed as a pitch competition for sports tech startups, with names like Maria Sharapova associated with the event, it is a natural extra stage for GAIMS and Kit Funder given where Zenith AI actually started. We will share an update once we hear back.

Why Web Summit, why now

Web Summit Lisbon puts more than 1,500 investors on the floor alongside 70,000 attendees. It is not only a visibility event. Nearly 200 startups from last year's Startup Programme raised a combined 715.5 million dollars after the event, and artificial intelligence took the largest share of that at 334.6 million dollars, up 360 percent year on year. That is the context we are walking into: an industry moment where agentic AI is moving from pitch decks to production, and investors are paying attention to companies that can show, not just tell.

We will be on the ALPHA stand, and we have applied for PITCH, so there is a chance you will see GAIMS presented on stage rather than just on a booth screen. If you are at Web Summit and want to see GAIMS, talk about Kit Funder, or discuss what agentic AI actually looks like once it is running your supply chain, book time with us on the ALPHA floor or find our stand using the details on our Web Summit profile.
